Jeremy Peterson is a Vice President at Oliver Wyman CAVOK based in the firm’s Fort Worth, Texas office.

Jeremy is the lead assistant for the Oliver Wyman CAVOK, Certification, Regulatory Compliance, Quality and Safety Focus Area.  Jeremy has 18 years as an aviation professional, serving as a 14 CFR Part 121 Airline Captain, Simulator Instructor Pilot and serves in the firm’s senior leadership team.

As the lead assistant and member of the Certification, Regulatory Compliance, Quality and Safety Focus Area, Jeremy has managed the Firm’s Qualification Certification Consultant (QCC) manual and FAA recognition status.  His responsibilities include managing Oliver Wyman CAVOK’s airline company manual library, leading FAA certification projects and developing the firm’s intellectual capital.

Selected Example Engagements:

•Jeremy has played an important role in the development of the firm’s Single Operating Certificate (SOC) project methodology as well as the development of propriety strategic tools used. His SOC experiences includes assisting five 14 CFR Part 121 Air Carriers and serving as the Project Manager during his last three SOC engagements. 

•Jeremy has served as a project team member and project manager during two recent 14 CFR 121 new airline certification efforts and has assisted multiple air carriers with a wide range safety and compliance audits.  His leadership roles also include a variety of Major Change Process Document projects assisting operators with bringing new aircraft onto their operating certificates.

•Jeremy was part of an airline synergy project where he assisted two South American operators recognize synergies while identifying opportunities to combine operations into a single set of procedures. 

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman CAVOK, Jeremy served as a Pilot for a 14 CFR Part 121 Airline. He also held a position as a certified flight and ground instructor at a 14 CFR Part 141 flight school. He holds a B.S. in Aviation Management and Technologies from Spartan College of Aeronautics. His pilot certificates include an ATP, MEI, CFI, and CFII.
