Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing subject matter expertise to clients in the aviation/rail/energy sectors in all matters related to operations and maintenance management of equipment and infrastructure
  • Working knowledge maintenance programs, philosophies, and methods to include shop operations
  • Researches, analyzes and develops maintenance program evolution opportunities and solutions based on review and analysis of reliability data utilizing field experience and internal consultations
  • Data collection and analysis of key performance metrics to ensure achievement of performance goals and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with pertinent regulatory and operational requirements, control processes, associated documents and ability to understand and exercise applicable provisions of client’s policies and procedures
  • Maintain thorough and consistent client communication and support to ensure satisfactory delivery of agreed product suite
  • Support clients in coordinating maintenance programs and reliability matters with the regulatory authorities
  • Conduct root cause analysis of systems and component issues with deteriorating reliability
  • Management of the Time Limitations Manual of multiple fleet types
  • Develop substantiating data for approval of maintenance program evolution changes
  • Implement changes to the approved aircraft maintenance programs
  • Create and publish job instructions for scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Travel nationally & internationally, as required, to support clients

Education and Experience Required: 

  • EASA Part 66 license or Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or combination of commensurate work experience 
  • Working knowledge of EASA Certification Specifications (CS) or FAA Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) related to maintenance and reliability programs 
  • Previous Air Carrier maintenance programs & reliability experience 
  • Familiarity with airline MRO IT systems (TRAX, AMOS, Ultramain, PMI, Sceptre, etc.) 
  • Working knowledge of transport category aircraft Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR) and Maintenance Planning Documents (MPD) and familiar with ETOPS requirements 
  • Airline maintenance and/or engineering experience
  • Experience with data analysis and excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of MS Visio and Adobe Framemaker an advantage
