Documentum Developer
The CAVOK Group is seeking a Documentum Developer to play a key role in their work with major airlines to build next generation applications supporting regulatory and business driven requirements. This role is part of a small team committed to rapid application development and delivery of highest quality products for the company and its’ clients. The position will directly support active sales campaigns, implementation of new clients and support of the existing installed base.
The successful candidate will have a content management system implementation and integration background with strong experience with Java, JEE and Documentum architecture, development and integration. Experience in technical publishing using XML databases & CPTS SML/XLS authoring tools highly preferred.
Skills & Experience:
- 5 + years of experience with Documentum: Content Server, Web Publisher, eRoom, DA, WDK, Workflow Manager, Application Builder, Application Installer, ACS, BOCS, DFC and Business Objects Framework (BOF, Java Method Server)
- EMC Documentum architecture and design, development and deployment.
- Extending the the Documentum Object Model and Business Objects Framework
- Documentum Foundation Services programming
- Experience with Documentum Technical Publishing Solution
- Ability to work with other development teams in a large-scale, fast paced project environment
- Certification in Documentum desirable
- Strong communication and problem solving skills required
- Motivated self starter who likes to work in a fast paced environment
- Aviation background helpful; desire to learn required.

Senior Developer
The CAVOK Group has an IMMEDIATE need for a Senior Developer with expertise in PHP/Zend Framework to assist in work for major airlines building next generation applications supporting regulatory and business driven requirements. Your work will contribute to CAVOK’s strategy of providing employees and customers with efficient tools and applications that save time and generate benefit.
This role is part of a small team committed to rapid application development and delivery of highest quality products for the company and its’ clients. The position will design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. You will be responsible for enhancing, improving performance & supporting an existing web portal. You will be interfacing with the business, vendors and other developers to define and implement application changes.
Skills & Experience:
- 5 - 10+ years of experience in related field
- Advance knowledge of Zend Framework (MVC), PHP5.X/ OOP, JSON, XML, REST, AJAX, JavaScript, SQL(PGSQL), UNIX/LINUX, Versioning (GIT,SVN,CVS)
- Strong code documentation, use test cases, capable of following a plan.
- Knowledge of industry specific modeling/analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of the application of strategies used to test work from a software & computational perspective.
- Experience with Documentum Technical Publishing Solution
- Ability to work with other development teams in a large-scale, fast paced project environment
- Strong communication and problem solving skills required
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated self starter who likes to work in a fast paced environment, strong work ethic
- Aviation background helpful; desire to learn required.
